Armed Security Officer.

Job Description:

• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
• Full-Time, Wednesday thru Sunday, (6pm to 2am).
• Location: Cicero, IL.
• Pay Rate: $19- Hourly. 
• Paid Sick Time.

About the Job:

We are looking for a fit and attentive Security Officer to ensure that our property is protected. The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the property, and apprehending any trespassers.

To be successful as a Security Officer you must be alert and professional. A good Security Officer is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place.

• Make guests aware of rules that must be adhered to.
• Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the property.
• Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs.
• Report to supervisors regularly.
• Record any suspicious activities with the supervisor.

Security Officer Requirements:

• A high school qualification or equivalent.
• State PERC License, FOID, and Armed 230 Training (All active, up to date).
• Basic first aid skills would be advantageous.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Prior experience as a Security Guard would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail.
• Must have a firearm, holster, duty belt, and Vest.
• Must have a working phone.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant – Seeing, hearing, feeling, standing, walking.
• Occasional – reaching, stooping, climbing, balancing, driving, bending, twisting, handling paperwork. Carrying, lifting pushing, pulling, and gripping of objects ranging in weight from under 20 lbs. to over 50 lbs.
