Job Description

ICC NTA a proud member of the International Code Council's family of businesses, and 3rd party building product inspection and certification organization is seeking a qualified Quality Auditor-ICC Building Inspector for full time employment located in the Salem, Oregon area. Our ideal candidate will have a background in building construction and/or quality auditing code requirements on manufactured housing. We are searching for professional individuals with high integrity, excellent verbal and written communication skills with an attention to detail. The Quality Auditor position will require an individual that is self-motivated and works well with little supervision.

Knowledge of manufactured housing code requirements is required. ICC Residential and Commercial certification combination preferred, but not required. ICC NTA will provide training for exams to obtain license. Auditors will be required to pass ICC building code exams and maintain licenses via on going continuing education.

Candidate should be willing to also travel to other housing manufacturers or locations located in the region or possibly in another state. Valid driver's license and ability to travel daily is required.

• 2 years' building, construction, or manufactured home inspection experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• ICC NTA is on the cutting edge of mobile technology and computer proficiency is required.
• Valid Driver's License required
• ICC Residential and/or Commercial Combined certifications highly desired. Candidates with certification must be able to maintain their certification statuses. if no current ICC licenses, candidate must be able to obtain required certifications by passing the required exams within 6 months of employment. ICC NTA LCC will assist with the cost of those exams or re-certification process.
• Must be willing to travel for work

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb ladders, bend, twist, stoop or crawl regularly during the day to perform physical inspections on various parts of building structures.
• Standing or walking for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to physically travel to to the client facility or work-site via airplane or by driving an automobile which will require being seated for several hours at a time.
• Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environments were dust and a other particulates are present.
