Job Description

Design work that matters. Leadership that grows. A career with real impact.

If you’re an experienced interior designer ready to step into a role where your expertise, leadership, and creative vision truly make a difference, this opportunity was designed with you in mind.

This role offers the chance to lead meaningful, complex projects that positively impact people’s lives—while working alongside a collaborative, high-performing team that values design excellence, mentorship, and long-term career growth. You’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of projects, the support to continue sharpening your craft, and the opportunity to mentor and influence the next generation of designers.

We are seeking a seasoned, multi-faceted Interior Designer III to join a Seattle-based design team. This role spans all phases of the design process, from early programming and conceptual design through construction administration, and involves close collaboration with architects, designers, contractors, and clients.

Top candidates are self-motivated professionals who thrive in a studio environment, enjoy managing complex work, and are excited about stepping into leadership and mentorship responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead interior design projects of varying sizes and complexity from concept through completion

  • Provide team leadership, including overseeing and mentoring junior designers

  • Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients

  • Participate in design development, construction documentation, and construction administration

  • Serve as a technical resource with strong knowledge of codes, detailing, contracts, and project management

  • Manage client relationships and, as needed, contribute to fee estimates, proposals, and contracts

  • Oversee FF&E specification, procurement, budgeting, and coordination

  • Support a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional interior design experience

  • Ability and intent to obtain licensure or NCIDQ certification in the future

  • Experience managing large-scale projects and/or multiple concurrent projects

  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design thinking and execution

  • High proficiency in Revit

  • Rendering experience (Enscape preferred)

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience developing and managing budgets

  • Proven ability to mentor and guide project team members

  • Self-directed, proactive, and solutions-oriented work style

Strongly Preferred

  • Workplace project experience

  • A demonstrated commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive team environment
