Position: On-Site Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Location: Oconaluftee Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, Cherokee, NC
Schedule: 1–2 days per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Conduct health screenings, physical exams, and immunizations.
Diagnose and treat minor and acute illnesses.
Develop care and management plans for chronic health conditions.
Prescribe and manage medications under physician supervision.
Record all health encounters in the Student Health Record (SHR) promptly and accurately.
Provide health education and counseling to students on wellness, prevention, and employability.
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (unrestricted) in North Carolina.
Certification from a recognized professional board (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
