Job Summary: Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders and provides support to the maintenance department. This person will rotate to other positions as needed as well. Anticipated salary will be $21.00 per hour Range : $19.15 to $25.91 Benefits:

Essential Functions:

• Operate Forklift to move product from Blending to Packaging and from Packaging to Warehouse
• Supply empty pallets and materials to pack lines as needed to keep packing lines operating.
• Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by building/labeling/loading/boxes/bags onto a pallet. Requires lifting up to 55 lbs continouosly.
• Required to assist in bagging of product as needed. Requires pushing/pulling up to 55+ lbs. Maintains packaging standards.
• Required to assist in dumping of product as needed. Requires pushing/pulling up to 100+ lbs.
• Completes paperwork as needed.
• Must maintain integrity of product.
• Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
• Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Must follow good manufacturing practices, and be responsible for sanitation of assigned area.
• Must follow all Safety Rules

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of standup forklift and load move system.

Work Environment: The job is performed in the warehouse and production areas where the person will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles emanating from ingredients being used, and will be in the presence of or otherwise operating machinery.
