Production Supervisor

Sea Fox Boat Company is an industry-leading saltwater fishing boat manufacturer. We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Production Supervisor who can elevate our brand, motivate employees, and help us continue delivering the highest-quality boats on the water. Boat-building experience is a major plus!
The Production Supervisor oversees departmental leads and ensures the quality, efficiency, and safety of all production activities on their assigned shift.
Train, coach, and manage production employees on assigned shift/line.
Organize and oversee daily workflow and job assignments.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Ensure timecards and payroll information are entered accurately and promptly.
Handle employee discipline and termination in coordination with HR and in accordance with company policy.
Oversee production operations on assigned shift.
Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain strong knowledge of production processes and equipment.
Troubleshoot issues as they arise and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ensure adequate staffing to meet production goals and deadlines.
Communicate delays or obstacles to production planning and relevant managers.
Inspect products regularly to identify quality defects.
Complete all required documentation accurately and on time.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strong understanding of—or ability to quickly learn—production operations and machinery.
Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities.
Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
Thorough understanding of operational policies and practices as well as Sea Fox’s mission and vision.
Strong communication skills across teams and departments.
Experience in rigging, or assembly is required (minimum 3 years).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking within the factory.
Adequate visual acuity for product and machinery inspection.
Regular lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing in and out of boats for up to 8 hours per day.
Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to chemicals, tools, and related hazards.
Non-air-conditioned production area requiring work in hot and humid summer conditions and cold winter temperatures.
