Job Description

Productivity Manager  The Productivity Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and service delivery at the SERCO-operated One Stop Center. This role provides daily guidance and training to all staff, ensures that client services are delivered effectively, and that all performance metrics are achieved. The Productivity Manager plays a key role in managing resources, aligning projects with business needs, and driving continuous improvement across the center.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership & Service Delivery

  • Provide daily guidance and training to One Stop Center staff to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of performance metrics.
  • Oversee the quality, consistency, and compliance of all client-facing services.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and staff productivity.

2. Communication & Collaboration

  • Maintain clear communication with the Project Direct regarding progress, risks, delays, and any issues that may impact project success.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, fostering a cooperative and inclusive environment.
  • Share expertise with team members and promote professional development through knowledge-sharing.

3. Risk Management

  • Proactively identify risks and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Participate in risk mitigation planning and contribute to proactive resolution strategies.

4. Adherence to Project Plans & Standards

  • Follow project schedules and deadlines while meeting quality and compliance standards.
  • Ensure alignment with procedures, standards, and methodologies defined in the project plan.

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Actively participate in project retrospectives and lessons learned sessions to enhance future performance.
  • Provide feedback to improve processes, tools, and project workflows.

6. Resource & Cost Management

  • Use organizational resources effectively and efficiently, avoiding unnecessary expenditure.
  • Support cost control by managing workload within budget constraints and timelines.

7. Accountability & Ethics

  • Take full ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure they contribute to overall project success.
  • Adhere to professional, ethical, and organizational standards, following PMBOK-aligned practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, workforce development, or project management
  • Knowledge of and the ability to learn a variety of relevant computer software programs, computer and other office equipment, and the Internet.
  • Interact with customers in a positive and productive manner. Ability to organize work requirements.
  • Excellent communications/presentation and writing skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation in order to travel within service area.
    • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; for long periods of time. Employee must be able to drive for extended periods of time. Employees must occasionally lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, must be able to set up display area.
    • WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced, demanding physically and mentally, will be in constant communications.
