Job Description

System One is looking for a talented Salesforce/nCino developer to join one of our partners. The ideal candidate needs to be familiar with the nCino platform, financial industry & terminology. 

This is a 12 month contract opportunity. 

Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.

Description of job duties :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix software defects.
• Actively participate in agile scrum ceremonies to drive successful project execution and delivery.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Help architect and design software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Resolve technical challenges and provide guidance on technical decisions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices and champion their adoption to improve software development processes and product quality.
• Duties may require occasional support during non-business hours.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Experience required :

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in a technology field and/or 8+ years of related experience.
Technology certifications are preferred.
It is also preferred that the candidate have banking and financial service experience.

SKILLS:

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
• Proficiency of development tools and debugging techniques.
• Proficient in Apex language development, Salesforce user interface design (e.g. Visualforce, Lightning Components), and SOQL query language.
• Experience with nCino development is preferred.
• Additional experience in one or more programming languages and frameworks is preferred such as Java, C#, Angular, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong knowledge in software architecture and design principles.
• Proficient in software development methodologies and practices.
• Strong knowledge in performance optimization and scalability techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of database design principals.
• Teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other team members.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
