**Courier - 2nd & 3rd Shift Available** **Location:** Charleston, SC **Schedule:** Full-time **Job Summary** We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Couriers to support our logistics operations. This role involves transporting materials and products across Charleston and surrounding areas, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries that support hospital and facility operations. **Responsibilities** + Perform scheduled pickups and deliveries within the city and nearby regions + Transport medical and non-medical items to designated locations + Assist with loading and unloading trucks + Verify quantities of received goods and ensure proper documentation + Use scanners and tracking tools to record inventory movements + Forward delivery paperwork to appropriate departments + Provide courteous and professional service to hospital personnel and vendors **Required Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record + Familiarity with Charleston area routes and traffic patterns + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Previous experience in courier or delivery roles preferred + Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages as needed + Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and email systems **Preferred Skills** + Inventory management and material handling + Experience with box trucks and logistics systems + Ability to operate handheld scanners + Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities **Ideal Candidate** + Experience in healthcare courier services + Intermediate computer proficiency + Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor + Strong attention to detail and time management **Benefits** + State health insurance, pension, and retirement + Tuition reimbursement + Pay increase after 6 months and yearly **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
